Evening Fly Fishing
Learn to fly fish and enjoy a beautiful evening on the water! This course will cover the basics of fly fishing including casting, tying knots and bringing a fish in. Course fee includes all equipment and instruction. Transportation will be provided. Participants must purchase their own fishing license (approximately $10) and be able to carry a 10-15 lb pack while hiking up to two miles per day on rocky and variable terrain.
Time: 4:30-9:30 p.m.
Fly Fishing & Camping
Join us for an overnight fly fishing adventure in Staunton State Park. Hike to a beautiful lake where you'll learn the basics of fly fishing and enjoy a beautiful night camping under the stars. No previous camping or fly fishing experience is required. Course fee includes all backpacking and fly fishing equipment, food and transportation.Ìý
Requirements:Ìý
- Participants must be able to carry a 15 lb pack on uneven terrain up to 5 miles and be able to sleep in a tent
- Participants must purchase their own fishing license (approximately $10)
